Aftercare
Before showering, brush your hair to remove tangles and prevent matting. Use only the recommended shampoo and conditioner, and apply a moisture masque twice a month. Wash your hair gently, using a double shampoo if needed, and condition evenly from mids to ends. Rinse thoroughly to avoid build-up.
For brushing and blow-drying, use an extension brush, starting from the ends and working your way up. Clip up sections as you go to make brushing easier, and apply a leave-in detangler and heat protection. Power dry your hair 80% of the way, using your hands rather than a brush, and then finish with a round or paddle brush. Style with appropriate heat, avoiding excessive temperatures.
When sleeping, keep your hair in a low ponytail or braid, use a silk pillowcase, and never go to bed with wet hair to minimize damage.
